Service Coordinator

General Description: Meets with Service Customer, assists with unloading and loading
Customer’s equipment, checks in equipment, stages equipment and begins the triage process.
Target Responsibilities:
Stage equipment for Service Technicians throughout the day.
Prepare the triage process for both morning and afternoon.
Check equipment in and tag with red ribbon.
Assist with unloading and loading customer’s equipment.
Keep staging areas for equipment organized.
Clean equipment thoroughly prior to entering Service Department either at the red or blue
stage when extra help is needed.
Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness, improve and promote quality and monitor own
work to ensure quality.
Observe all safety and security procedures, report potentially unsafe conditions and use
equipment and materials properly.
Treat Management and other Employees with respect and contribute to building a
positive team spirit.
 Work with integrity, always upholding company values.
Perform related responsibilities/accountabilities as required or directed.

Daily Duties and Responsibilities:
Begin each workday with a positive attitude by encouraging your team members to meet
their goals.
Work to develop a sense of team in the Service Department and across other
departments.
Load and unload Customer equipment as needed.
Continually stage equipment for Technicians to help improve their efficiency.
Clean equipment prior to it entering the Service Department.
Sharpen blades and fix tires as needed by Service Department.
Maintain an orderly and clean work area. Assist in keeping the entire shop orderly and
clean.
 Collect and dispose of trash.
Respond promptly to team member needs to help improve the profitability of the service
department and the satisfaction of the customers.

Weekly Duties and Responsibilities:
Meet with Service Manager to discuss the upcoming week and any changes in priority.
Inspect, clean and maintain all equipment used.
 Report any faulty equipment or hazards to the Service Manager.
Discuss with Service Manager any areas for improvement or changes in the processes.
General Requirements:
1. High School degree or GED equivalent.
2. Maintain a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
3. Pass an on-site forklift training course.
4. Drive a fork lift, tractor and truck with trailer.
5. Possess ability to learn ATE’s business system.
6. Possess good communication and problem-solving skills.
7. Possess good organizational skills.
8. Pass a pre-employment drug test.
Physical Requirements:
Routinely handle weight up to and including 70 pounds.
Assist Customers in the loading and unloading of equipment.
